For a month, we've kept tabs on Evan Hoge's unique snow bike project. Klim's Product Line Manager is a bit of a dirt bike afficianado, so watching him transform a 2003 Honda CR125R aluminum frame and a 1987 Honda CR500R engine into a wicked snow bike, complete with a Timbersled Mountain Horse LT kit.

With a 2003 Honda CR125R frame (left) and the powerplant of a 1997 Honda CR500R, this bike has a litte beauty and a little beast.

Hoge relied on Starting Line Products for the 85-horsepower engine treatment plus a custom pipe that was hand-built by Allen Roberts.

The carburetor has an Intellajet system from Thunder Products. Then there's the Rekluse TorqDrive Manual clutch, the All Balls Racing gaskets, seals and bearings as well as an IMS fuel tank, SDG Innovations seat, triple clamps and more from Billet Racing Products and some pegs and hand guards from ProMoto Billet / Fastway.

The assembled frame and motor are ready for the most important component of a snow bike: the track conversion kit.

The Timbersled Mountain Horse LT kit bolted right up to the beast build.

The goal of making it to Hay Days will be met. You can see this bike in person at the Klim booth all weekend. Maybe Evan will fire it up a time or two...
