Evan Hoge's creation taking shape

Just over a week ago, we introduced a special project being tackled by Evan Hoge, Production Line Manager for Klim.

Hoge is stuffing an SLP-modified Honda CR500R two-stroke engine into a 2003 Honda CR125R aluminum frame, bolting on a Timbersled Mountain Horse LT kit and wheelieing off into the sunset.

The cases to the mighty CR500R engine, ready for bearings from All Balls and to be bolted back to the SLP top end.

A complete set of gaskets, seals and bearings from All Balls Racing.

The stock CR500R clutch and basket have seen better days... or decades. Time for an upgrade.

Ta-da!

The Rekluse ToreDrive Manual clutch is designed for high-horsepower enigines (such as a CR500R SLP kart motor...). Power to the ground efficiently and zero stalls in the deep snow this winter.

Hey, it's starting to look like a bike! Well, kind of. Watch for an update this weekend as Hoge tackles the chassis components, with items from ProMoto Billet, BRP, IMS fuel tank, and the plastics.
