MotoTrax has established itself as one of the snow bike industry leaders in design and innovation. Its patent-pending rising-rate suspension and pivoting skid technology––MotoLink––is pushing the industry in a new direction. The ability to lean a snow bike into a turn like a dirt bike has been missing from the industry according to MotoTrax.
MotoTrax is a company founded on a passion for off-road motorcycles and has developed a truly unique, ground up design that allows a snow bike to function like the dirt bike it resembles. The 2016 Scout-XC from MotoTrax was a snow track system that raised the bar for quality and performance, both on the trail and in the powder. The efficiency of the system allowed MotoTrax rider, Justin Homan, to place first in the B main class at the West Yellowstone Snow Bike races on a Husqvarna FE350, beating out an entire field of 450 dirt bikes running other track systems. The revolutionary suspension on the Scout-XC also allowed MotoTrax hill climber, Aaron Sterck, to take first place in the stock snow bike class at the World Championship Hill Climb in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, beating the entire field by a large margin. Aaron was able to leverage the higher track speed and better suspension of the stock Scout-XC to straight line the 1,500 vertical feet climb when all other competitors were forced to side hill to the top of Snow King Mountain. MotoTrax says they have taken the technology that made these wins possible and improved upon them for our 2017 model year.

The 2017 models have several improvements we are introducing this year, some of our latest innovations are:
- A fully enclosed brake system that allows for consistent braking whether you are riding the trail or the deep powder
- The MotoLink pivoting skid has gotten better with even more lean. We have increase the pivot 7 degrees so there is now 25 degrees of total lean.
- The 2017 suspension is more rigid and progressive with new machined billet components
- We have been working to develop the best snow bike ski on the market. All 2017 MotoTrax systems will be coming with the newly designed “Carve” ski that will provide the optimal amount of floatation in deep snow while remain maneuverable and predictable on the trail.
